My family and I moved from eastern North Carolina to the Triad in 2013. My husband and I are both active members of the Lewisville Civic Club, and we love meeting new people in our community. We believe that honesty and hard work are the foundation of lasting relationships and success. Shumack Realty, LLC / eXp Realty is licensed in NC and Tennessee. 

My roots go back to Virginia and Tennessee though, as my mom was from Abingdon, Va. and I have a lot of family in Tennessee. It is where we plan to retire to in the coming years. 

My passion for people is what drives me. I love helping my clients — whether they are looking for their first home, choosing their forever home, buying a vacation spot, or selling their current home to relocate.

I graduated from East Carolina University with a Communications degree. After more than seventeen years in the medical field, I earned my real estate license and began my real estate career in July 2008. My husband and I are both NC Real Estate Brokers, and we have sold real estate from the coast to the mountains of NC.

We have four children (three daughters and one son) and one grandson, Beckett. The oldest daughter, Meagan, is married to Josh, a US Navy sailor. They live in Virginia Beach where Josh is stationed. Our second oldest daughter, Brooke, graduated from The NC Arts Institute and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Our son, Brandon, is a US Navy Veteran, and our youngest daughter, Brylee, who will be graduating May 2024 from high school. Our family also has a fur baby: a shih tzu named Oreo.

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, camping (Glamping with our camper), photography, crafts, repurposing furniture, and making memories with my family.
