Pete Mears, also known as “Rocky”, has a plethora of life experiences before he joined Griffin Home Group. Hailing from Montana, Pete has lived in multiple places throughout his life, from Montana, Nevada, Utah, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and now Tennessee. Throughout his career, Pete has held several different job titles, including preacher, consultant, and General Manager, and now Director of Operations. His varied experiences have given him a unique perspective on the world and have allowed him to gain valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. In addition to his professional accomplishments in the Automotive Sales Industry and business development, Pete is also an accomplished athlete, having played collegiately in his younger years. Nowadays, he enjoys spending his free time on the golf course, honing his skills and enjoying the great outdoors. Pete's love for travel has taken him to many destinations over the years, but his favorite by far is the Caribbean. He has also been happily married to his wife Marilyn for 42 years and has two children, Jennifer and Jackson. Pete takes pride in his Native American heritage and his love for this country is palpable, he is also always looking for ways to help those around him. He is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the New York Yankees. He is also the proud owner of a husky named Kodi. Pete is a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Academy, a lifetime member of the Knights of the Million Dollar Roundtable, has BA in Psychology from Colorado Christian University, Masters of Divinity from Master's University, and an MBA and Accounting minor from Northern Montana College.
